The design builds on the corner location of the site by connecting streets on both sides with  internal circulation allowing buses in and out of the terminal to bypass the busy intersection. The design also integrates the existing characteristic shophouse buildings converting them into commercial space for the terminal. The bus terminal is comprised of five major parts: Departure lounge, Arrival platform, Bus drop-down and pick-up space, Bus parking space and Shopping arcade.
